Tameika G. didn't stop at the transformation. She built a coaching practice, traveled 40 countries, and now helps women create health that fits their lives.
More than fifteen years ago, Tameika G. made a decision that would change the course of her life. At the time, it looked like a weight loss journey. Looking back, it was the beginning of something far bigger.
She lost 90 pounds. But more importantly, she kept them off — and in doing so, discovered that sustainable health was less about the scale and more about building a life you actually want to live in.
In an industry obsessed with transformation photos, Tameika's message stands out for what it refuses to do: it refuses to make weight loss the finish line.
"I truly believe we can create a life we love using health as a foundation," she says. "Health should create freedom, not restriction."
Over the past fifteen-plus years, she has worked with nearly 1,500 clients who have collectively lost more than 15,000 pounds and 20,000 inches. But she's quick to point out that those numbers tell only part of the story.
After navigating divorce and financial hardship, Tameika made a bold move: she relocated to Hong Kong. What began as a fresh start evolved into a completely reimagined life. She traveled to more than forty countries, eventually left her corporate career, and built a business from Bali centered on wellness, travel, and personal growth.
Today, she is the co-founder of The Whole Experience, a wellness retreat company that has taken participants to South Africa, Bali, Thailand, Italy, Greece, and Colombia.
Her coaching programs focus on balance and consistency — a perspective that stands out in a space often dominated by extremes. She has been featured in Essence, HuffPost, Health Magazine, Yahoo News, and several other major outlets.
Yet her message remains grounded: health is not about perfection. It is about creating a lifestyle that supports the life you want to live.
